What we use

Pricyfy uses a minimal set of cookies and equivalent local-storage entries. We group them into two categories:

• Strictly necessary — required for the service to work, including your language preference, a pseudonymous session ID used to correlate activity logs, and your stored cookie-consent choice. These do not require consent and are kept in your browser's local storage.
• Affiliate & analytics (non-essential) — used to attribute clicks to affiliate partner networks and to measure basic usage. These run only after you accept non-essential cookies in the consent banner.

Server-side logging

Even when you reject non-essential cookies, we still log core service activity on our servers (searches, scans, photo uploads, retailer clicks) as described in the Privacy Policy. This is separate from affiliate/analytics cookies and is necessary to run the service.

Affiliate links

When you click through to a retailer via an affiliate link, the affiliate network or retailer may set its own cookies or use similar tracking technologies on its website, under its own cookie policy. This happens on the destination site, not on Pricyfy.

Managing your choice

You can accept or reject non-essential cookies in the banner shown on your first visit. You can change your decision at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the site footer, which re-opens the consent banner. Rejecting non-essential cookies does not affect the core scanning, identification, or search features.

Browser controls

You can also clear or block cookies and local storage through your browser settings at any time.
